Support for the people of Medway

Citizens Advice Medway is funded by the Veterans' Foundation to provide advice and support on finding and sustaining accommodation for those coming out of any branch of the UK Armed Forces.

We offer a holistic approach to advice when supporting Veterans by offering support on any issues they may be experiencing, with the focus being on those facing barriers to finding and sustaining housing. We can assist by liaising with Medway Council's housing team, engaging with landlords, providing self-help tools, and much more.

We attend a range of Outreaches at various military sites across Medway where those nearing the end of their service can engage with us but can also pick up a case at any stage, whether the veteran is struggling to maintain a tenancy for reasons such as rent arrears, or if they are experiencing homelessness for reasons such as a relationship breakdown.
