As an independent charity, Citizens Advice Medway is overseen by a Trustee Board. Armed with creating the strategy and direction for the organisation and overseeing the management and finance of this Citizens Advice branch, these 5 volunteer members serve a crucial role.
In their work, these Trustees are responsible for ensuring that we comply with all our legal responsibilities, that we meet standards set by Citizens Advice nationwide, and that our financial affairs are conducted properly.

Each trustee brings a diverse background and collectively they bring experience in business, accounting, customer service, research, public sector management, project management, and sales. Like Dan McDonald, many of our Trustees are active in other volunteer organisations and all share a deep commitment to providing an effective, trustworthy, and efficient advice service for the people of Medway.
We are always looking to expand our volunteer team and it’s never too early for a new volunteer to become a Volunteer Trustee. As we consider Volunteer Trustees, we’re looking at not only your background but also your skills.
