Tenants do not need to be in arrears with their rent to be referred to our L&Q PoundAdvice project. The service is open to all L&Q tenants across Kent and while we can provide assistance on any matter faced by an L&Q tenant, the main service we provide is debt advice and support on matters such as:
Citizens Advice Medway has helped thousands of local people with advice on budgeting and how to make ends meet. The L&Q PoundAdvice project is open to any L&Q tenant in Kent and completely confidential and impartial. Alongside the debt advice you can receive, assistance can be provided if other problems are identified such as benefits and housing.
Tenants can self-refer, but most referrals will be via the Revenue Officers at L&Q. If you are an L&Q tenant who feels you would benefit from an appointment with our L&Q Project Worker, give the L&Q Project Helpline a call on 01634 380049. This phone is manned from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and can be used for admin matters relating to the project as well.
L&Q and Citizens Advice Medway are here to support you through the tough times. Professional advice is only a phone call away.
