Donations

Citizens Advice Medway relies on our generous support from donors to continue offering our free services to our community. Our services are free, and our clients are not under any obligation to donate. However, as a registered charity, we welcome donations from individuals and other organisations. Donations can only be accepted for the benefit of Citizens Advice Medway - not for individual volunteers or members of our staff.

Any donations, of any amount, are welcomed and greatly appreciated. If you would like to support our efforts, you can donate either by cash, gift aid, or a cheque. If you pay income tax or capital gains tax, you can maximise the impact of your donation by completing a gift aid form. Alternatively, if you have appreciated the service you have received from Citizens Advice Medway, please consider leaving us a gift in your will.

Donations of all sizes make a difference.

Below are some examples of the impact you can have with your giving:

£10 will cover the daily expenses of one volunteer working a 7-hour day.
£30 will pay for a worker to visit an elderly client at their home.
£90 will fund the direct costs for solving a housing problem.
£190 will help us to support a family in debt to avoid having their home repossessed.
£500 pays to produce a new leaflet to be distributed to recruit new volunteers.
£650 pays for a PC and software for a volunteer to use.
£5,000 could buy an interactive Self-Help Information Kiosk to enable people to get advice in locations other than our office, such as doctor’s offices.
